As The Stranger looks closely at the Spiritual Crystal, he realizes it could be some map. The Spectre knows who could help them with that – Evelyn Madison. After having performed the Infernal Nova spell, John lost contact with Evelyn. Noises are heard in the distance – it’s The Entity. Some magic wielders of The Entity have infiltrated The Aekanira deserts. With The Entity approaching fast to their location, The Stranger asks The Spectre to focus on a solid memory with Evelyn to locate her. As John does so, he uses the runes to open a portal and escape that odd place. They end up in Black Hallows at the Blossom Clinic. Both The Spectre and The Stranger look confused.
Noises and screams are heard in one of the treatment rooms. As they break down the door, they see Evelyn attempting to harm a patient as Dr. Jennifer Blake is shocked in the right corner of the room. Evelyn explains the man she was trying to harm was Lucius Ledger. He is part of The Entity. He faked being socially disturbed to fulfill his mission to prevent John’s powers from taking over. Evelyn also thinks Lucius Ledger knows essential details on how to track the rulers of The Entity. As The Stranger takes Lucius Ledger somewhere else to extrapolate crucial information, Evelyn and John finally talk after their last heartbreaking encounter. Evelyn reveals she needed time to process her loss and find a new purpose: destroying The Entity. By doing so, she became aggressive and brutal in getting what she wanted. As Evelyn learns about the Spiritual Crystal, she understands it may be a key to an ultimate quest.
A fleeting look occurs as The Stranger interrupts it with the news: from Ledger, he extrapolated a new location – The Waters of Golhes. Evelyn’s hand glows red as she possesses the Flamestone. A portal opens in front of them. As they reach a wet location surrounded by water, they suddenly encounter a deadly obstacle: quicksand. They get sucked into a dark but warm place as they sink into them. Now, they are surrounded by Dryads. An epic fight occurs as John is knocked out by one of the beasts. As the Dryad is about to end John’s life, Evelyn saves him with Ares’ sword. A new intense look is exchanged between John and Evelyn before this last reveals she has retrieved the sword by defeating an ancient sorcerer of The Entity. Defeating all the Dryads, they scour the place, trying to find something to help them. Suddenly a noise is heard as the waters flow over the sealed position. Soon, the area was filled with water. By emerging into the waters, Evelyn notices some ancient inscriptions glowing in blue on the walls. She asks for the Spiritual Crystal and swims over the inscriptions. To her luck, at the center of the inscriptions, a slot matched the Spiritual Crystal. She plugs the Spiritual Crystal inside it, stopping the water from flowing. A gate opens before her, revealing a metallic gold sphere. Evelyn stands before The Spectre and The Stranger, showing what she has just found with victorious eyes.
