John and Evelyn reach a place glowing in purple. In front of them, a purple mantle-like water emerges to the infinite. Evelyn senses something, and thanks to her re-acquired magic, she performs a spell. Out of nowhere, a white boat emerges from the abyss. John and Evelyn get in it and sail to the horizon. The Spectre and Evelyn are stunned by the beautiful panorama but simultaneously worried about not seeing anything on the horizon. Suddenly, John and Evelyn listen to a sweet song from female voices. All of this is interrupted by something heavy lifting the boat. John notices a creature on the boat's edge as the sky darkens. It looks like a mermaid, but something is off. The creature is malignant, with sharp teeth and a killer look. Evelyn recognizes it as The Shrak, a mystical forgotten creature that feeds on lost souls. As John and Evelyn wield their weapons, dozens of Shraks attack them, almost making the boat sink. With attempts of bravery, John and Evelyn succeed in containing the rage of the Shraks. Unfortunately, John gets bitten on the shoulder. The bite of the Shrak is nasty, but thanks to the Blazewing, Evelyn casts a protection spell. As the duo is still managing the Shraks, a manage is over them: a vortex of the fluid mantle appears, forcing the boat to sink in it. Both John and Evelyn know this could be their last time together. So, they hug together, face to face, waiting to be sucked into the vortex. John wakes up at the shore. Behind her, Evelyn feels unconscious. Behind them, the ground floats. John tries to revive her, but he loses every hope. Out of hope, Evelyn chuckles the water and takes a deep breath. They notice they stand in front of a castle filled with black magic. As they slowly approach the door, this last opens by itself, welcoming the wielders to the entrance. The place is cold and dark. Something is off. They can feel the black magic, but also something more conjuring.
Evelyn gets close to a small altar, revealing a crucifix. As she gets close to touching it, these last turns upside down. Scared, Evelyn gets far from that, hitting John on the back. Together, they decide to follow hand in hand as whispers echo in the castle. Someone starts dashing from side to side. Suddenly, that thing hurt them, knocking them down. John wakes in a room filled with mystical artifacts. He notices Evelyn unconscious and trapped upside down on a magical device. As he tries to get close to her, a voice echoes in the room. John turns back to see a woman. The woman introduces herself as Lilith’s sister, Naamah. She begins by saying they’re at The Wreckage of Time, where time doesn’t flow. Indeed, all the objects float in the room. Naamah reveals she is the daughter of the devil herself. She created The Entity after her sister wanted to wipe out the entire existence. As Naamah knows The Entity’s methods are cruel and brutal, she highlights how it’s only for a superior good. John looks around the room, seeing some artifacts he already witnessed, like Zeus’s bolt. Naamah continues her speech, asking if he knew the motive behind why the Nightshadows are only formed by women. In the past, Lilith created the Inquisitors, a group of men with black magic that almost tore down the entire world. Mke an exception for The Forgotten. Naamah decimated them to stop all this, extinguishing them once and for all. Naamah proposes John take her side, promising him the role of ruling The Entity, protecting the world from all the threats. Together, Naamah pledges to annihilate the Nightshadows once and for all. John jokes with her, as he would never betray who gave him a real purpose. As Evelyn takes conscience back, she is terrified by the situation she is in here. Naamah reveals a huge plot twist, among which Evelyn was stolen by the person who pretended to be her mother.
Indeed, she is the true daughter of Lilith. Naamah wanted to kill her, so she banished Lilith to a secret dimension. That’s why Evelyn contains the power to eradicate the world. The fact that Evelyn is equipped with a protection spell is a modification the Nightshadows implemented to hide her from Naamah’s rage. Evelyn needs to die so that the world can live. As John can’t stand a word that Naamah is saying, an epic magic duel takes place between him and the sacred. Naamah reveals that as strong as The Spectre is, she can’t die. She is immersed in black magic, and he doesn’t possess what he needs to kill her. Moreover, killing her would be less effective. Naamah controls the flow of time in the world. Something no one does. Without her, multiple menaces will arrive soon in the world, shattering what has been created over centuries. As the fight between Naamah and The Spectre ties, this last gets close to Evelyn touching her arm. He recites some Latin words before turning to Naamah. He shows her the Blazewing. Naamah looks surprised for the first time as she knows the book contains something to stop her power. John recites new words in Latin, evoking runes in the room's four walls. A red-purple aura glows over the entire place, ending with overwhelming Naamah. Naamah is shocked to learn John has banished her from The Wreckage of Time. Now, she can’t control The Entity anymore, but at the same time, she will serve the correct flow of time. Otherwise, the forces of the multiverse will annihilate her. After freeing Evelyn, something unexpected happens. Evelyn starts convulsing. Naamah reveals she has cursed her. She obtained what she wanted from the beginning—killing Evelyn. Naamah cast a curse spell that bound her banishment to Evelyn’s life, making John responsible for her death. As John can’t believe it, Evelyn gives her a last kiss—a testimony of her love for John before lying dead on the floor. As John witnesses the scene, he shatters his soul in a black aura that heads towards the world. As a result, all members of The Entity get broken into dust, disappearing for eternity. In tears, John vanishes into thin air while Naamah looks at him mockingly. Weeks later, The Nightshadows have taken back possession of Nighthomir. The Ancient, delighted to feel The Spectre’s rage, nominated him Supreme Inquisitor of The Nightshadows. Dark and suffering wait for the world as The Nightshadows are ready to rule the world again.
